On July 22nd, 2011, at 10:00pm Central, we watched an episode of "Lingo" hosted by Bill Engvall on GSN. To start the game, one player from each team drew a Lingo ball; the player who drew the higher number meant his/her team went first. What was the winning number in this draw?

Doug: Yeah, we've got CY$25,000 in the jackpot. Now, here's the thing. We don't have time to play our full high-low card game. So, here's what we're going to do.
By random assignment, we have six playing cards from a regulation 52-card deck hiding behind the letters in "JACKPOT" -- plus one wild card.
We'll give you two chances to draw the wild card that's hiding on the board. Find the wild card -- and you're going to go wild because you will have won the CY$25,000.
If you don't find the wild card on your first attempt, you may take an offer of CY$250 times the value of the card. If you draw a face card, I'll make it worth CY$2500. An Ace is worth CY$5000.
If you don't find the wild card on the second and final attempt, you're stuck with CY$250 times the value of the card, CY$2500 for royalty or CY$5000 for an Ace.
So -- for CY$25,000 -- tell me which letter hides the wild card.
