Audience Game All right, friends. Chance for one of you to share in the winning. This is open to all except our current main game players (we'd like to spread the wealth, after all). The player closest to the right answer, high or low, gets to play for a whole lotta cyber-money and a new car. Here's the question.
On July 22nd, 2011, at 10:00pm Central, we watched an episode of "Lingo" hosted by Bill Engvall on GSN. The winning team scored how much money before the bonus round? Please respond in hundreds of dollars.
(time passes)
And we're done. Let's see the right answer.
Seventeen hundred clams. Who's the closest?
Todd Davis $1700It's Todd -- right on the money. Thanks to all for playing.

It's your chance to win big on Hot Dice.
(Todd runs up to the dice table to meet Doug; they shake hands)
Doug: Thanks, Scarlett. Welcome back to Hot Dice -- and welcome aboard, Todd. If you're feeling luck and luck's indeed on your side, you could win this.
Scarlett: For your driving enjoyment, IT'S A NEW CAR! (audience cheers) This sleek Kia Soul comes with a manual transmission with overdrive, chrome accented grill and much more. A great car with CY$17,850.
And if you win the car, you'll also receive a CY$10,000 gas card -- furnished by CDM Enterprises and Hot Dice.
Doug: So -- new car *and* CY$10,000 in gas on us. More than CY$27,000 can be won in a game we call...
Doug: ...Feel Lucky? Now it all begins with a roll of one dice cube. Whatever number you roll, I'll mulitply it by CY$500. So that means a 6 pays CY$3000.
(Todd rolls)
Doug: And it's a 3 -- so you start with CY$1500.
Doug: Now -- let's see how lucky you're feeling.
In the top row of numbers -- 1 through 4 -- we have two double cards and we have two bust cards. If you find a double card, your winnings double to CY$3000 and you play for the car and gas gard in the bottom row.
Key thing to keep in mind -- any time you pick a number hiding a bust, the game's over and you lose everything.
We'll worry about the numbers 5 through 8 later. But the question for now is -- do you want to take the CY$1500 and run or do you want to try to double to CY$3000?
(audience shouts suggestions)
Todd: Oh, I feel lucky! 1 please.
Doug: Going with number 1. Oh I hope there's a double there. What's behind 1?
Doug: Oh -- no. Todd -- game's over.
Or -- is it? I have a floor director showing me stretch. So I tell what we're going to do. First, reveal 2, 3 and 4, please.
Doug: The numbers to pick were 2 and 3.
Now, *had* you found a double card, we'd play for the car. In the bottom row of numbers -- 5 through 8 -- we have the word "car" and three bust cards.
Now, if you find the word "car", I can't give you the car -- but I will give you back the CY$1500 you lost. If you find a bust card on the bottom row, I'll give you CY$100.
So would you like number 5, 6, 7 or 8?
Todd: Give meee.....hmmmm... 5 please.
Doug: Number 5. If the car card is there, he gets back his CY$1500. If there's a bust, CY$100 for dinner and a movie. What's there?
Doug: Hey now. Got the 1500 back. Congrats. Open up the rest of the board...
Doug: ...just to confirm bust cards were there. Todd, sorry you're not driving home in the car -- but glad you got back your CY$1500. A nice hand for Todd Davis.
Doug: Back with another main game -- after this.
